ser ' vant: n : one that serves others; especially one that performs duties about the person or home of a master or personal employer.
Now I know I'm not getting paid a dime to do all that I do, but I am is feeling more and more like a servant around here. I can't tell you how much laundry goes through my machines in a week. It seems like I barely get it put away and it is pilled up again. I believe in cleanliness, but get real! The house is another story in itself....I think that it gets dirty while I'm at work. I don't know how it does it but it's doing a good job. Meals...meals what can I say....doesn't matter how much food I make....it always disappears. Think you can make extra for another meal...think again. If I knew how hard this job would be, I don't think I would have applied. How did my mom do it all and never seem frazzled?!

i'm hearing you kristin, & i don't even have teenagers yet! i've been doing so much laundry, looking forward to summer when at least i'll be washing smaller clothes (shorts & tees) & no socks!! Xave hasn't been wearing a pull-up to bed at night lately which is cool when he doesn't have an accident, unfortunately the last 2 nights have been wet ones :( so right now i'm washing his bedding yet again! sounds like you could use a clean house fairy...why hasn't anyone invented one of those yet, huh??!
Oh yeah, baby, Servant is my middle name! But I'm trying HARD to keep a balance of servant and happy person, so I blog, scrap a little and read a little, and who cares if all of the clothes aren't clean, or the vacuum doesn't get ran, etc. The house will STILL function :) Hang in there, and soon you'll be warm and happy in FL!
Hang in there SISTAH...I am there with ya! Food doesn't last...clothes....cleanliness..ugh!
